4th Gong Bath of the Winter Residency Weekly in Saratoga Springs, NY TONIGHT!

No mind can resist a gong well-played and this event will focus on that fact and its effect on the pineal gland.
For fun, the event image is one of "Pinocchio" which like most stories might be stranger than the well known children's version. "Pin / Pineal" and "Occhio" (Italian for "eye") seem to tie well with this story of 'cutting the puppeteers strings' and 'ending the troublesome effect of lies' (as a search for truth).
We'll see you soon!
Feel free to ping with questions or ideas,
Jim

The Gong Lab "Gong Baths" are a meditation experiment with sound and vibration . They use gongs, singing bowls and other equipment to facilitate relaxation and cultivate a rejuvenating experience. During the gong bath, multiple gongs and mallets are used to bring out the full spectrum of beneficial vibrations and frequencies.
Sound has been used therapeutically for thousands of years to soothe and de-stress, as well as to heal and alter consciousness. The listener only has to let go and let the sound of the gong do the work. The experience is effortless and the results can be profound.

To understand how Sound Healing works, it is important to realize that everything in creation is energy, vibrating at different frequencies. Modern physicists continue to find evidence to support this belief. Even seemingly solid inanimate objects like rocks are forms of energy vibrating at lower frequencies. At the other end of the spectrum, light vibrates at a very high frequency. As human beings we are also vibrating energy forms. Since sound travels five times more efficiently through water than air, the human body, composed of over 70% water…..is an excellent conductor for sound and vibrational healing.
When bathed in sound, different areas of the body respond by locking in or “entraining” to the sound and begin to vibrate at the same frequencies. Every part of the body has its own resonant frequency. If there is an imbalance or blocked energy anywhere, the harmonics of the gong stimulate the cells to vibrate in sympathy and to be restored to their highest potential of functioning. Sound vibrations also work on the subtle energy body to help clear energy blockages before they manifest as physical illness or disease. If nothing else, it sounds it's relaxing and sounds cool

Welcome Gong Masters and Friends to 2020

Gong Masters Jim and Nick Pavoldi Warming up Before a Gong Bath in Saratoga Sorings NY
Gong Masters Jim and Nick Pavoldi Setting up Before a Gong Bath in Latham, NY

2019 was an amazing year as we completed our gong stand prototypes for hanging either 6 or 8 gongs at a time. We spent quality time with our teacher, Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux, and were joined by Susan and Deb as Gong Journeymen and Gong Masters in training. We worked on our "Spinning Gong" hanging bearing and started to experiment with the both the conch and tuning forks while becoming fascinated with 2 and 3 simultaneous shruti box sessions.
